Sunken Eyes
don’t try to cry
don’t try to make a river
when the time comes
and not a single poem is blessing you
it will be there
a little girl who lost her mom in the town square
and the town is like a battlefield
from her sunken eyes
and her little fingers, feels about the odd faces
and you runaway, runaway
far from where you are today
Helpless Blues
no one asks me
no one loves me
that’s it
that’s what it’s called
what is it called?
it’s called disappear
it’s called me
I’m wearing dirty shoes
listening to helpless blues
when it starts to snow,
I’m running out of clues
and no one even stares at me
Theory of Everything
for a couple of moments, people stare at the sky before nightfall
and smile after work
I can’t really count all the possibilities behind it.
Elderly
the light on your face fades
shrivels like a log piece
where the cross section shows definite rings
and its remaining water only becomes sweat
your hair is thinning
just like autumn leaves
falling down, whispered by the wind
as if every breath exhaled
his roots shudder
though they used to be like ironwood
now, no more buds sprouting
that is how you are today
alone in your sleep
awoken by the silence
a little conversation turns into a secrecy
until the words pity themselves
“Life,” you said,
“No longer shared anything, anymore, since a long time ago.”
Lean on Loneliness
lean on loneliness
he never rushes to go, or speaks too much
as if he understood the most
lean on loneliness
never, has he ever broken a promise
always, he faithfully waits
lean on loneliness
never, has he ever forgotten to share
that, he enjoys being with you
lean on loneliness
never, has he ever wanted to sore you
or, let you fall asleep in a dream
lean on loneliness
never, has he ever betrayed
never, has he ever lost by the dawn?
lean on loneliness
never, has he ever been tired of following
or, thought to stay away
lean on loneliness
never, has he ever hesitated to believe
always, he depends on quiet words
lean on loneliness
never, has he ever died
always, he sings softly
lean on loneliness
only with him
never has he ever felt crowded like this
